If I lived in the city...

I lived in the city, I would probably live in an apartment smaller than the average hotel room. I would never complain.

If I lived in the city, I probably wouldn't have my silver Jeep Wrangler anymore. I'd be so fit from walking everywhere.

If I lived in the city, I'd ride the subway. I'd never let the magic of being underground wear off.

If I lived in the city, I'd know how to properly hail a taxi.

If I lived in the city, I would get fresh produce from little grocery stores or street vendors.

If I lived in the city, I'd wake up every snowy winter morning and marvel at how beautiful the city is. I wouldn't complain about slush, ever. I'd have a nice pair of bean boots and a thick wool coat. I'd wear cashmere sweaters.

If I lived in the city, I'd go to a broadway show as often as I could afford to. Maybe I could get a job working at one of the theaters backstage. Maybe even on stage!

If I lived in the city, I'd probably still teach Sunday school at church, but at a church like St. Malachy's.

If I lived in the city, I'd go to the Jersey Shore or the Hamptons or something like that in the summertime for a weekend.

If I lived in the city,  I'd go to Central Park every chance I got.

If I lived in the city, I'd be a part-time nanny.

If I lived in the city, I'd read fancy periodicals like The New York Times or The New Yorker on my iPad.

If I lived in the city, I'd occasionally go to the ballet and the opera.

If I lived in the city, I'd have to get a boyfriend or a dog because I hear city life can be lonely.
