My Name in Lights…er… Print!

I'm thrilled to share this exciting piece of news with y'all!

You're reading words of a published writer! That's right, I'm the newest reporter for The Nicholls Worth!!

A proud moment in the Union this morning.

I'll be reporting on all sorts of other news around campus, too. My first story was on the study abroad programs offered by our business department. I'm so excited that more people will be reading my work!
{side note, everyone should read their campus newspaper, no excuses.}

This might mean that I have even less time to blog, but I really hope I can continue blogging occasionally.

But the byline makes it all worth it :)

Have A Sweet Day!

It's 10:15 AM, February 14th, 2014, and I've already had enough sugar to last for the rest of the day!

There's a special place in my borderline-childhood-obesity heart for a holiday that goes right along with sweets.

Okay, childhood obesity may be a slight exaggeration, but you know that phrase, "I love you like a fat kid loves cake"... I was probably the stereotype that originated it.

I've always loved sweets, I adore baking, and I drink tea with way too much sugar in it. So a day to eat sweets without being looked at with eyes of judgement? I'll take it.

If I don't do another post soon, I'll probably have fallen into a sugar coma. I know who will be craving vegetables tomorrow!

Love to all of you!

P.S. What's your favorite Valentine's Day candy? Mine are conversation hearts and heart-shaped boxes of chocolate :)

Rosy Valentine's Day Gifts!

I feel like no matter how many to do lists I make or how much time I schedule, there simply aren't hours in the day! I've been putting off this post for no apparent reason, other than losing track of the hours of the day. Maybe I need a second Kate Spade watch... One on each arm? Could it be the next trend…

So without further ado, here's the list of pretty rosy gifts I'd love to receive if I had a special someone to buy me gifts for Valentine's Day!
